The staff is very involved and friendly! The rooms are very very nice and spacious with a large storage box/shelf for your things as well as plenty of floor space. The walking tour is fantastic and there are game nights and other social/art activities to participate in. I was never bored! By far the best hostel in Kathmandu. The showers are also nice and hot!

We had a very short one night stay in this hotel, but it really did an impression on us. This hotel is ancient compared to where we stayed in Nepal before. The historical atmosphere of this place is definitely worth the money. The traditional architecture, furniture, in room amenities are very rare in hotels. No elevators, but the staff will carry your luggage up the stairs.
We really enjoyed it.
The reception staff was very helpful, everything was well organised. If you stay in Patan area, I really recommend this place.

A hidden gem that takes you back in time. Superbly located a few minutes away Patan Durbar and close to Thamel by Taxi.
Excellent service provided by the Team.
We stayed for 2 days and fell in love with the place so much so that we cancelled our booking with another bigger hotel on our way back from Pokhara.
The best part of our Trip was savouring the delicious breakfast served here and just soaking in the vibe.
A tip is to have the Taxi service provided by them for Airport pick ups as you will need to get into small alleys.
I found them to be very honest in their dealings with Driver service providers and honestly a shout out to Mr Buddha for arranging everything for us and guiding us along the way.
If you're here and reading this, don't even hesitate or think twice about looking anywhere else. It's great value for money for an experience that money truly can't buy.
Thanks guys for making our trip to Kathmandu so, so magical.

Customer service was exceptional. The lovely team of young staff were very friendly and eager to please. They made an effort to remember my preferences and the wait staff were able to predict my breakfast order by the 3rd day! I felt so much at home. I WILL return.

Dinesh and his wife and young daughter are great host!
Dinesh is a very affable host, but also very cognisant to respect guests preferences to enjoy the homestay in private as needed.
Depending on your travel preferences (interaction or not) Dinesh is very accommodating.
Dinesh makes you feel welcomed from day one, and no request is too big or small.
He is happy to take you around town, and really makes you feel like family.
This enhances the homestay experience and gives a small insight into life in a Newari household.
