The Mitsui Garden is one of my favourite hotels in Taipei: rooms are spacious and comfortable, it has an onsen on the rooftop, staff is lovely, it's located literally on a good metro station and the breakfast is everything I hope from a great Japanese hotel.
It was my second stay and I plan on returning there for my future trips to Taipei.

Spacious rooms with comfortable beddings. Everything was perfect.
Can’t comment on F&B as we didn’t dine there. There is a lovely breakfast place near the hotel which offers good Taiwanese toast at a reasonable
price.
The only drawback is the hotel isn’t located near train stations. It’s not a deal breaker as the nearest train station is about 10-15mins walk.

Comfortable, clean room with great view and amenities. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location close to several key subway lines, restaurants, shopping, and Daan Park. Breakfast had a variety of Taiwanese and Western foods that changed from day to day. We stayed here for 6 nights and would return again.

I loved everything. How clean everything was. How there’s cotton pads, Q-tips and floss in the bathroom. How big the showers are and how nice the shower gel is. That there’s a washing machine. How comfortable the beds are and the system for storing your bag. The staff were lovely too!

Stayed in a small single room for three nights. Knowing it is small and without windows, I was expecting much worse. But it was not that small, fully sufficient for 1,92 m. like me. Although there is no window, but there is a nice lounge and a nice lighting system in the room.
