Staff are awesome, super helpful and nice to chat to them about the day and cool things about Taipei. Comfy beds, comfy pods, comfy hostel. Enjoy the craft/local beer downstairs and local food joints nearby. Facilities/amenities are great and easy to use as well. Will be back here again for sure, love Old Door Hostel & Bar - cheers :)

I loved the well appointed interior and the size of the room. The bed was very comfortable. The location was also great for what we wanted to do.

Very clean, the rooms are so cute and cosy. There’s a lot of space too :) The minibar was well stocked too! It’s close to Zhongshan area and the metro is right in front of the hotel.

The definition of a “quirky”, boutique hotel. It oozes good vibes and I loved it. My room was quite big and full of details, perfectly curated. The highlight being a stereo anno 1975.

The location. Just a few minutes walk from Taipei station. There are underground passages from the station to the hotel via an underground shopping mall with lots of shops on the way to keep the shopaholics busy and you don't have to worry about getting wet on a rainy day or the noisy traffic. I actually like the dark interiors of this hotel. Your eyes adjust to the light (or lack of it)after a few minutes inside the hotel. I requested a room on the higher floor and got a very good room on the 12th floor with a spacious bathroom, toilet, and a big bathtub. Very nice panoramas of Taipei from my room even though my room was not in the center of the hotel. The breakfast spread was terrific with a lot of options to choose from. In fact, I skipped lunch after a heavy breakfast on every day of my stay.

The hostel provides coupon for breakfast in some affiliated restaraunts around the hostel. You have to hunt for them. It's fun to hunt for a new place to eat every moring. It might not be convenient for some people, but it's fun for me as a traveler to do some tresure hunt. The room, bed and facilities are good. The bed is convenient with power sockets and a big locker and space next to your bed. The location is super convenient and very easy to find as it is right next to a 7-11. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
