The hotel is outstanding — perfectly located on Broadway, surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, with both Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s very close by, as well as a nearby subway station. The property is extremely comfortable, clean, and safe, and the staff are exceptionally attentive and friendly. My room exceeded all expectations, with an incredibly comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful. We stayed in a suite and there was lots of room for 2 couples (note the suite had one queen bed and a pull out couch. Both the bed and couch were very comfortable !) The suite was very comfortable and much larger than we expected; the cleaning staff were exceptional. The location was great for theatre, christmas markets, Rockefeller etc. Good access to the subway if you want to explore other areas of New York.

Everything! This was a perfect stay, an absolute dream come true. The artistic history of the place is overwhelming (ask about your room number), and the recent renovations perfectly honor this and the building's original architectural beauty without compromising on modern comfort. Nothing corporate or institutional about this place; on the contrary, it's just dripping with character and whimsy. Don't miss the lobby bar, cafe, or especially El Quijote, as these are all exceedingly beautiful and luxurious. The staff are largely friendly and accommodating, and the building is well located (a straight 10min walk from Penn Station, close to Greenwich Village, etc.). Pretty crazy that a hotel could tempt me away from exploring Manhattan. I never wanted to leave, and can't wait to return.
