Despite being centrally located we didn’t here any noise during the night (earplugs are complimentary though in case needed). Breakfast is great (with both continental & local vietnamese options) and there is a fixed menu for eggs (omelette, scrambled eggs, eggs benedict etc.) we could choose from everyday on top of the buffet selection. The staff speaks English and are very friendly. They provided us with useful tips for Hanoi and were always ready to help when needed. The room was clean, the bed is huge and very comfortable and we had 2 bottles of still water prepared for us everyday. There is a decent pool that unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy as the temperature dropped to 20 degrees during our stay but we highly recommend the daily happy hour (3-6 pm) in the rooftop bar as the cocktails are really tasty and the view is simply spectacular.

Excellent location. The hotel is pleasant, the dining room is charming and the meals are good. There is also a cool bar on the roof. But what really makes this hotel special is the service and kindness of the staff. We were in contact with Ryan and Liam from the hotel staff, weeks before we arrived, through WhatsApp conversations, and through them we arranged various transportation (to Tam coc and Halong Bay), also a cruise that included accommodation. Everything was exellant and worked great. The payment was collected only when we arrived at the hotel. They were kind and helpful, in an unusual manner. The quality of the hotel is unique and is mainly due to its professional service personnel. Excellent value for money

Soleil Boutique Hotel is situated perfectly in the Old Quarter- a two minute walk from train street. The hotel itself is so charming :) The reception staff (Jenny) is very serviceminded and sweet:) She was very helpful giving us information about what we should do while in Hanoi:) The doormen we met, James and Leo, are smiling and helpful. The housemaids made our room every day and made the room look unused:) Breakfast was good! And - swimming pool with a great view!
