We were messaged early on the day of our arrival to inform us that our room was already available and that our guest cards were prepared. The cards allow free use of the local buses , ferries and chair lift on the day of arrival and departure. The location of Haus Lackner is great for accessing everything this wonderful valley has to offer. There is no need to use the car as there are a number of good restaurants in the village. The host is extremely helpful and provided an ample breakfast with the option of a cooked egg. We had room 1 with a small balcony and a lovely partial view of the lake. There is no road noise as the property is slightly elevated and set back from the lakeside access road behind the Lacus Hotel. A wonderful place to visit for 1 night or 1 week ! Cycling, hiking , paddle boarding or even fishing.

Angelika is wonderful, she is paying attention to every guest and makes sure that everyone is tended to. The whole staff is very helpful and kind. The place is quiet, the view from there is beautiful, the air is clean and fresh. The room was clean, it was tidied every day. You can ask for packed breakfast if you want to head out earlier than breakfast time in the morning - take a thermos so you can get tea/coffee to go as well! There is a shoe dryer room, it is very handy when you come back from a rainy trip, your shoes can dry during the night. Greifenburg has banks and grocery stores if you need anything. For a summer trip, Großglockner, Pressegger see strandbad, Weißensee, Garnitzenklamm are close by car, it is possible to visit many locations during your stay, but you can go on hiking trips by foot from the accomodation as well, for example to Zwei Seen/Einsee/Hochtriste etc. If you don't know what to do in the morning, you can read the morgen post provided by the hosts, where they recommend a program for each day, sometimes it is a tour option with them, sometimes it is a place near by car to visit. They also provide information about the special activities near the place. Even though there was no option to book with dinner included, upon arrival they show you your own table where you will be spending breakfast to offer the chance to have dinner as well - you can choose from either the á la carte menu or the daily menu. The daily menu is provided every day at breakfast time to choose for the evening. The food was really good and sufficient amount. Breakfast is diverse, you can surely find the things you like.

The landlord was very helpful and friendly. The appartment is close to Lienz and ski centers. It's in a very quiet village, but one shop is close by. The landlord told us about the forest baths, which are included in the price, but we'd have to come back in the summer. 🌞 Because of a mix-up we got an upgrade to a three- bedroom appartment in the same building and it was great! Full of little details, which made our stay very pleasant. The kitchen is fully equipped, even mixer is there! It has a functional fireplace, which adds up to coziness. It was very clean, with clean sheets and towels. The beds are comfortable. We recommend it.

The apartment was very convenient for 4 people, the 2 couples were fully separated but we had a common spacious living room and kitchen. The surrounding is very calm, the neighborhood is very quite and the nature around is beautiful- perfect for relaxing, walking and also great starting point to explore the region (Nassfeld, Hermagor, Weissensee, or even Italy, e.g. the Alpe-Adria bicycle trail: from Tarvisio until Grado you can bike on a spectacular path). The hosts are lovely.
