The hotel is surrounded by beautiful hills and fields around 10 minutes from any village of note which is great for peace/quiet, excellent for star gazing - be sure to catch sunrise/sunset! The surrounding area is well kept and perfect for a little stroll around. It's a very authentic feel to the extent that female staff wear traditional clothing, everyone is so helpful and friendly - special shoutout to the excellent Ivan. There's food and drinks readily available, long hours. Spa facilities - the brave can swim in the lake, there is an indoor pool which has an outdoor part too, a very well equipped gym & sauna. The spa area is open early didn't close until 11pm. Very easy parking.

    Clean and comfortable hotel centrally located in Grein with great facilities for cyclists. The hotel has an honesty bar with wine beer and snacks which was very welcome. A friendly reception from the family with a good restaurant recommendation for our evening meal

    New owner since the beginning of this year. The family also runs a restaurant/cafe and a vinothek at the Hauptplatz of Grein. They do a great job to make you feel good. They have an impressive covered bicycle parking space in the yard of the pension.
