The house itself is a beautifully restored noble residence—its walls seem to breathe history, and every corner tells a story. The peaceful garden with a natural swimming pool offers the perfect place to relax and unwind. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the warm and professional hosting by Erwin. He goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The breakfast? Simply the best I’ve ever had at any B&B—generous, locally sourced, and served with great care. As someone who eats gluten-free, I was touched by the effort Erwin made to provide me with delicious gluten-free bread and pastries. Another bonus: free parking just 50 meters away! La Corderie is a rare find—a place where beauty, comfort, and heart come together seamlessly. Highly recommended!

I'm currently working in a nearby town and Fruithof Tack has become my favourite spot and overall my favourite reason to stay in Belgium. The sorroundings are wonderful and very quiet, rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious. The rooftop pool is always available, big and clean aswell as the sauna, you can also find a fridge on the rooftop to cool your beverages. Breakfast is included (very odd for the sorroundings), it is rich and fresh and the eggs are made on request, so you won't find any watery scrambled eggs for your breakfast. The owners are kind and available for any request you may have and lastly you will find their two wonderful dogs in the yard in case you might miss cuddling your pets at home.

An old house with all its charme. Room was great, bed extremely comfortable and totally silent. Furniture chosen wisely. Breakfast was fresh and great, and served with a smile. Hope business will bring me back to Dendermonde to stay here.

    Clean comfortable hotel with lots of good parking on site. Well located for a stop over between Calais and central Germany. Very good restaurant and excellent breakfast. 20 minute walk into town. The room we had was very large, about 50% bigger than most hotels. It also had a twin bedded room off it for use as a family suite.
