It is worth mention that the property is a bit far from town, so you need to take a taxi that costs between 5 to 10 US to go for lunch or dinner unless you want to use the kitchen available in the room. Tranquil little gem just outside Maun. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very responsive and easy to talk to. Easily the best shower in all of Botswana and very comfortable beds too. I slept extremely well. I also love that they have a little shop with their staff’s handicraft work for sale, so much more special when you meet the people who made the items you buy in person.

This is a special place. On the edge of Okavango, near a floodplain, you'll find an oasis of peace. Phazama is about a 30-minute drive from Maun, so it is suitable for multi-night stays. The chalets are spacious and clean, with private bathroom and kitchenette. If you don't feel like cooking you can go to the farm next door. Katja and Peter are absolutely perfect hosts. We had a car so location was not an issue. It is well located but not walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owner is lovely and the place is quite welcoming.

As a solo traveller, I had the best, most memorable stay at Sedia! All the staff were so warm and accommodating, location and pool were gorgeous, rooms were fantastic and roomy, and the restaurant was delicious. Can’t recommend enough!
