United KingdomThe hotel was situated in a quiet area of town, but was still super close to all the restaurants, bars and attractions. Staff were incredibly helpful and organised a taxi for us from the airport and to the waterfall one day. The room was big and clean with good air con. The outside area was also lovely, with an amazing view and the gardens are super pretty - attracting lots of birds - a highlight for us was seeing the hummingbird from the breakfast table every day - we loved it!

United KingdomGreat hotel with comfortable clean rooms. The view of the volcano from the pool is amazing. Really liked the seating area outside the rooms. The breakfast was amazing, really big and good variety. Nice pool at the hotel and it’s also great that you get access to the thermal pools at the sister hotel. It’s within walking distance to lots of restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

United StatesLa Roca Negra is like staying in paradise! The wildlife is amazing, particularly the birds. I saw dozens of species, just walking around, including many humming birds, tanegers, and a white hawk. I also spotted a family of agouti. When the weather clears there is also a view of the volcano.
