The house was very comfortable, and the bedrooms and beds were of nice quality. The small garden and very nicely shaped kitchen also made you feel at home. The owner was also very responsive and kind. Living next door, we did not have a chance to talk. The house is also very dog-friendly. We have and love dogs, but unfortunately, he was not with us on this trip.

A wonderful place to stay together on the canal and with a great bar/restaurant and outside area. The room was really comfortable. What really stood out at this place (of the 10 we stayed in on our 10 day Millenium Way hike) was the service and we really wanted to make a special mention to Becky. She was so happy and positive and nothing was too much trouble we felt she went out of her way to make our stay and meal there very comfortable

We wanted a convenient stop mid way between two places so chose Blue Boar because of the great reviews. The large, super clean room, terrific breakfast and lovely staff made our stay beyond expectations and dinner in restaurant was tasty with a good variety on the menu. Parking was also easy. We will definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect two villages not too far away, cottage was great really ideal had all of what you need for a holiday, friendly hosts, room for 2 cars lovely patio area with table and chairs to sit in the sun would also recommend the cottage of content pub not far from there fabulous food,loved our stay there would recommend.
