We had a Fabulous weekend and stayed at the Pelican lodge, due to our daughter attending a nearby festival( for the very first time 🙈) We loved everything about our stay. The excellent communication, from our host Caroline and the friendly welcome when we arrived. Fresh bread, jam and goodies added to this. Thank you😀 The lodge was so tastefully decorated and to an extremely high standard and smelt amazing.🥰 I love interior design and this was top class. Our 2 dogs were also welcomed and this just added to our relaxed stay. I have already recommended the lodge to our family and friends and will definitely stay there again.😃

Lovely campsite with friendly horse, donkeys and very cute alpacas. Nice things for the kids to do on the site and lots to do in the area. the river is lovely, and there are really nice pubs to eat at in the village. Michelle and her daughter were so helpful and friendly. And the bell tents were great - really comfortable beds! Thanks for a great stay!!

Dinner was beautifully presented and full of colour and flavour. The french beans were perfectly cooked a la dente and evenly coloured green :-) Breakfast was amply proportioned, my eggs benedict were superb. Coffee and tea readily available as well as the orange juice. The whole was graciously served by well-mannered, attentive ladies.

This was a lovely stay. The carriage is lovely everything we needed was there. The bed is super comfy. The owner was helpful when asking about area, taxis etc..
