It was a real pleasure to spend a couple of nights at Lis-Ardagh Lodge. Both Carol and Jim helped to make our stay reach a level above expectations. Excellent breakfasts and very comfortable large rooms. Would be hard pushed to find even the tiniest fault.

Absolutely everything!!!!! The place is located on the seaside, in a quiet cute town and finely decorated, with modern bathrooms. Everything is spotlessly clean and well kept. Breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious. A place to relax and take a break. And Julie is so kind and warm.

The hosts were so nice. It was really welcoming but we were also left to oursleves, which was lovely. The house is warm and inviting. It does exactly what it says on tin. Its not the Ritz, but its so clean, warm, excellent location, peaceful and welcoming. I will return.

What a beautiful gem of a place nestled in West Cork!! Marcella and her husband were the most gracious hosts and made sure we were well taken off and timeously answered any questions we had. The property itself is beautiful and it was ideal for our Christmas getaway for a family of 5! The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary utensils and basic ingredients we needed for cooking. The rooms and bathrooms were beautifully decorated and very spacious and the surrounding area was serene and peaceful. There was also a great kids play area outside. The property is close to great locations like Glandore, Clonakilty and Lough Hyne. All in all, it was an amazing stay and I would love to return someday!
