An extremely peaceful setting not too far from bars, restaurants, beaches and such, but still remote enough for that peace and tranquility we sometimes desire. The Valley Inn just down the road has the friendliest proprietor, staff, patrons and the food is just wow.. best steak I’ve ever had and I’m a fussy foodie….

WOW! What a lovely trip home! Everything was amazing. The accommodation was fab.and immaculately clean!! Lovely hot shower and great facilities In the kitchen. There's a lovely family run pub and restaurant next door which adds to the delight of staying here. Absolutely brilliant hosts..so friendly and helpful..We had a wonderful Christmas here!! Definitely going back here ASAP. So so Happy I booked here for our Christmas 2024 . It's one we will forever remember. So calm and peaceful - proper luxury! Bed was so comfortable and the place was spotless. Paula was such a charming host - very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - you are made to feel more like family than a guest. If you want a tranquil place to stay but within a short distance of excellent transport links this is the place to stay. It's hard to believe you're less than 5 minutes from the M1 as it's so quiet. There's the beautiful lake in the woods at the bottom of the field too so there's things to do in the evening whatever the weather. Such a relaxing place to stay - it felt more like a week's holiday than a one night stay
