What a magnificent old and well maintained house in a quite spot in Goa, with a short walk to the beach. What stood out though where the people working there, who were beyond friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and easily the best one around. I like this stay, everything is very clean, nice view from the balcony to the garden, palms, very quiet, shorts walk to the beach, ... But most importend are the hosts, ever friendly and nice. We stayed 5 nights and everything was perfect. The room is big, we enjoyed the balcony facing the palm tree with squirrels. It was super clean and the bed was confortable. We enjoyed the warm water. And John was really nice and helpful. The garden is lovely and there is a shop in the building. Thanks a lot to make our stay so nice :)

Half Hotel is an outstanding lodging opportunity that should be your home in Calangute. I spent five nights there and everything went well. Architecturally, the hotel is modern with much glass and a pleasing connection between the interior and exterior. The wifi is very reliable and fast. The rooms are diverse and well appointed. I stayed in a well priced single room that made “small” perfectly comfortable with its well positioned electrical outlets, comfortable bed, and good storage. The free breakfasts are outstanding with a range of eggs, bread, beverages, etc. Also there are revolving, daily Indian dishes included in addition to the daily selections. Service is fast and you will not leave hungry. Charles, the owner, and his excellent staff are always available and happy to assist you with any questions or difficulties. I definitely look forward to returning.
