As we were upgraded to the Geysir Hotel this review relates to that hotel, which is beautifully stylish with tall ceilings and lots of stone finishes. Our rooms were spacious with good facilities and comfy beds. The bathrooms were modern, warm and functional. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and helpful. It is quite spacious, squeaky clean, and has all the amenities you'd want: private bathroom behind curtain, sink, fridge, comfortable beds. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Fast wifi. Common use showers were large and had plenty of hot water. Early breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It was easy to find and check also easy. The yurt was beautiful on the inside, toilet and sink area very clean. Beds are very comfortable and we slept like babys. We spent 8 nights in Iceland and this was our favourite experience. The owner was really helpful and friendly and even woke us to see the northern lights!
