Comfortable, clean resort with very attentive staff. Everything was delivered as advertised. Direct access to the beach and fairly spacious hotel pool. Visited in mid October the resort was not crowded at all.

I liked everything about this place, starting from the wonderful shady garden. The staff was very kind and the room clean, just renovated and with its own special style that you won't find anywhere. I strongly recommend it

Everything was just perfect! Quiet place close to a nice beach with a very shallow water. One can walk at low tide to Nilaveli beach (15 min walk). Brenda was a perfect, talkative and helpful host as well as an excellent cook. One can refill bottles with a drinking water at the property. Nice well equipped huts with comfortable bed. 10 and 15 min by tuk tuk to Upuveli and Trinco, respectively. Surprisingly no mosquitoes (the first place without them during our 3 weeks travels in Sri Lanka). If you look for peaceful quite oasis this place is for you. Highly recommended!

I would recommend this hotel to budget-conscious travelers looking for a clean and comfortable base in Trimcomalee. A very friendly host who is always in for a chat (and speaks perfect English). We got some nice recommendations for activities and restaurants. Our room had airconditioning and a fan which is great and very clean. The location is close to the beach and is quiet at night inside.

We had a wonderful stay at SGA for Pets Lover! Prashant is incredibly kind and helpful—his availability and hospitality made all the difference during our stay. What truly makes this place special is his amazing project to rescue stray dogs and cats, especially females. You’ll find many sweet animals around the property, and for us, that was the best part. It’s clear how proud Prashant is of what he’s doing, and we were proud to support him too. The guesthouse is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and about 15 minutes from Trincomalee—super convenient. The shower had hot water with great pressure, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. What else can I say? If you love animals, this is the place for you. Right next door you’ll find Mom’s Kitchen, their family restaurant—probably the best and most affordable food in Uppuveli. Don’t miss the Rice & Curry buffet!
