Kasbah Maktob is enchanting, like staying in a comfortable museum full of Berber artifacts; one is surrounded by Amazigh culture. Also provided by wonderful host Mustapha, a sculptor and musician who will play and sing after supper on the traditional gimbri, the Moroccan bass. We stayed in the top room, the family room, spacious with an incredible view from its balcony out over the palm oasis. Kasbah Tamnougalt is my favourite in Morocco, and Kasbah Maktob sits within its ancient walls. Mustapha is also a fabulous cook, so meals were delicious. One of my favourite places to stay in Morocco -- don't miss Tamnougalt and the Agdz area. Beautiful.

This Kasbah is a paradise in the middle of the country. The food they serve is just delicious and the swimming pool was refreshing. We enjoyed it a lot. The team was so welcoming and supported us with all questions. We highly recommend this Kasbah.

So peaceful, tranquil. Soft lighting at night, so many areas to relax in. Dinner was full of freshly grown vegetables, thoughtful side dishes and delicious slow cooked tagine. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The well-maintained garden featured a delightful array of flora, contributing to the overall beauty of the surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy moments of tranquility. While the culinary offerings were described as "in the norm," I found them to be satisfying and enjoyable. The meals were well-prepared, showcasing a decent variety of flavors that complemented the overall experience. Although not extravagant, the food certainly met expectations and added a pleasant touch to the overall stay. In conclusion, my stay in this palmetto paradise was nothing short of delightful. The careful attention to detail, both indoors and outdoors, created a memorable and rejuvenating experience. I would highly recommend this hidden oasis to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat in a beautifully curated setting.

Lovely restored riad run by a very friendly and welcoming family who went out of their way to make my stay a pleasant and memorable one. The home-cooked meals and sweets were also delicious.

The property is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. A beautiful house decorated with love and kept with care. Hicham made us feel welcome from the very beginning and was an amazing host to us. The location is amazing, hidden between ruins the house holds so much character. A very comfortable stay, a beautiful terrace and lovely saloon. We were very impressed!
