Family hotels and homes in Tiznit

The host were GREAT. Probably the best in the world. We traveled with the family and my mother in law was not feeling well after a long trip and the host helped her with all she need it to recover. The house is GREAT for families looking for a real Morroc adventure in a very traditional Media.

The location was excellent-in the Medina and a short walk to the Ville Nouvelle.The staff were very friendly-I want to mention Mustafa in particular.This man is friendly and welcoming and gave me a lot of assistance in seeking a good silver shop in Tiznit.Aïcha and Mbarke were also friendly and helpful.Food was excellent and I had breakfast and dinner there on both days.Instead of one room Mustafa gave me an entire apartment at no extra charge.It was clean and comfortable and sleep quality was perfect...Riad Le Lieu is top class...Worth returning to.

Amazing place, really friendly staff. Breakfast was huge - you won't need to eat until dinner. We were given watermelon and coffee throughout the day at no cost, amazing 🤩

Ali and Firdaous are wonderful hosts! The included breakfast is excellent and extensive. They will (and did!) provide a delicious, home cooked evening meal on request and at a very reasonable cost but please note that payment is only by cash (Euros or MAD) and NOT by card, as indicated on Booking.com. The villa is well equipped and very clean. They will even do the washing up (although we often did it ourselves). The pool is beautiful although we didn’t venture in as it wasn’t too warm in early March. Communication is in French with Ali, or via Google translate in Arabic with Firdaous. The location, about 10 minutes drive east from Tiznit, is much more convenient than staying in the town itself as there is easy and secure parking on site. The Source Bleue and nearby Kazbah in Tiznit, are fascinating. The Kazbah was built as a prison but now houses an open air theatre. Sidi Ifni, on the surfing Atlantic coast, is an easy drive. The views from the coastal road are fabulous and the tiny fishing villages, just north of Aglou, where the fishermen live in caves in the cliffs, are well worth a visit. Be careful if you’re in a standard car, as we were on our first visit, as the “roads” are across sand dunes and can be quite difficult in places. We got much further with our 4x4 tour driver later in the week. Unfortunately, all the organised tours start and end in Agadir but we were incredibly lucky to intercept them on their visit to the Source Bleue (at about 10:00) and arrange a private tour to “the small desert” or “mini-Sahara”, the coastal dunes near Aglou, a massive dam and more , for the following day. The road winds up to 1200 metres (4000 feet!) into the Ante-Atlas mountains and the scenery is breathtaking! There are numerous attractive small towns and villages on the high plateau. We'd love to return!

Great place to stay right near the center to town. The apartment is well equipped and the staff were helpful and prompt in helping us with our request.

I liked the combination of the seaview and the mountain view that surrounds the house.It's so soothing and inspiring.I also liked the food served by the nearby restaurants ,especially the one that is just 100 metres away..My dream of flying and feeling free finally came true thanks to the paragliding and quad biking experience offered in Mirleft ,in just about 30 minutes away.My family and I really enjoyed walking along Aglou beach ,watching the beautiful sunset.That experience is really unforgettable.Thanks to the host and his co-host.

Where to start? Our host (phonetically pronounced "Larscen"?) is a truly amazing host. His mission in life seems to be to meet, greet, host and entertain as many people as he can during his time on earth and his apartment is simply his means of being able to do this. The apartment is there so that he can invite you to dinner, so make sure you say yes - there are no hidden catches - and go and enjoy one of his wife's sumptuous tajines and have a truly enjoyable evening with him. Our evening in his spectacular dining room was one of the highlights of our trip, and our biggest regret was that we couldn't stay another day to have his guided tour around his beautiful city. Ah yes - his apartment. Beautiful. Roomy. Comfortable. 2 bathrooms. 2 bedrooms. A kitchen that actually contained crockery and utensils. A large living room. Wifi etc etc. Beautifully located within the walls and just up the road from the "Blue eye". This place is an absolute gem that he refuses to charge properly for - book it if you can!

I loved staying at this hotel everything was perfect for me..I booked the deluxe family room to start and it was massive ..I then booked a double deluxe and it was also massive..Hotel was very quiet and the cafe downstairs was really nice ..very good for breakfast or lunch ..the staff were very good overall an excellent experience just what I needed after travelling to the busy cities..Tiznit was a pleasure very friendly people..Thank You Tiznit can't wait to tell people back home proper Moroccan hospitality ❤️
