We came to Salen for skiing in Klappen. The location was great for this. It is 5-10 min. away. And there were trails closeby for country skiing. There is also a place nearby for renting the skiing equipment which is way cheaper rather than renting them from the ski resort. The place is very cozy, the rooms are warm. Also Göran was a very welcoming and hospitable host. It was great talking to you and learning about the area. It was a pleasent stay. :)

Our host was very kind. She welcomed us every morning at breakfast and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet was diverse, with a lot of options. Perfectly boiled eggs ,a treat every morning :) The room was very clean and comfortable. We were able to use the kitchen to make our dinner, this was absolutely awesome. The staff was very friendly overall. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend staying at Vasacenter B&B.

I loved the cabin, and it worked well for us as a group of friends who stayed various nights during the week, me there all week. Well equipped, great deck, with nice views, away from the road, but well located to go hiking in the area and up in to Fulufjället National Park from both the Swedish and Norwegian sides. Very enjoyable, I hope to go back for more hiking to see autumn colours.
