Amazing and very kind service, not simply accommodating the needs but anticipating them. The villas are simply right, well equipped and very carefully furnished. The beach is calm and despite the sea not being on par with other parts of the island, the calmness makes up for it. Very very very recommended.

- perfect spot for resting and beautiful scenery - the villa is literally on the beach - you can see the ocean from the bed - you can watch the sunrise from your bed or romantically from the heartshaped pier, swing or beach - it’s very quiet and so you wont see many people except for some locals working during low tide - staff is very friendly, helpful and on point (fast response and solving problems/requests) - the manager is very hospitable, initiates sharing information but also leaves you alone immediately when finished - the manager’s cat is living on the property and she’s super cute and playful - they arrange taxi, massage, yoga classes and tours - you can use the supboards for free - breakfast is very delicious and versatile and almost entirely suitable for vegetarians - restaurants offers outside of menu options for lunch and dinner as requested, even local dishes that are not on the menu - water pressure is very good and hot water - airconditioning and fan works perfectly - complimentary drinks upon arrival and leave

The One Resort is definitely the place to be! Have stayed in so many other places in Zanzibar over the years for vacation, but this time around I met the unexpected. The One Resort has this ‘Je ne sais quoi’ that gives real substance to the infamous saying ‘feel at home away from home’. Everything is made to make you feel so special and yet all customers have the same treat. Coming from Cameroon to celebrate my 20th wedversary with my lovely wife, we are now leaving with our memories full of agreeable and unforgettable souvenirs. First the staff or may I say the One Resort family: Kind, available, supportive, always smiling and ready to go the extra mile for your utmost satisfaction. What about our room? Didn’t expect it to be so large, white clean with all the amenities included. The view to the sea and swimming pool was just wow! I still wonder whether they mistakenly upgraded the room we booked for, but ssssshhhh!!!! Don’t go and tell them because you may also benefit from the same ‘mistake’ when you come. Talking about the food, I think the Chef deserves an award. The quality, refinedness and variety of meals served is far above expectation. Maybe they sneaked him out of the ‘Rock’ restaurant just for the time of our sojourn. What else to say? The beach is constantly kept clean, the activities offered are very enticing. Can you imagine after so many attempts to swim with dolphins in so many years, I finally succeeded. You may call it a coincidence, but I consider it part of the ‘je ne sais quoi’ I mentioned earlier. I won’t end without extending my sincere thanks to the top Management of the Hotel. They would come to me every day to check and make sur I was fully satisfied and to suggest adjustments if any. I won’t hesitate to recommend this hotel, especially for honeymooners and those celebrating any other particular event. The One Resort has special packages for you!

The hotel is amazing. Situated directly on the beach, amazing sea views, amazing service. We loved everything about it. The food, the staff, everything. Spending our days under the coconut trees was the best thing we could have dreamed off with the best cocktails the bartender did for us. What an amazing place. What an amazing stay. Highly recommended. We also loved the attention Mario, the director, provided us every time we asked for places to visit or things to do. He provided us with the best trips and information about surroundings. Definitely will come back

This really is a wonderful place everything you need to relax. Small place, just 12 rooms, perfectly formed! Superb outlook, great bungalow accommodation, fabulous team of well trained locals led by one of the coolest and most efficient guys I have come across. Roger the Rasta is on it and you wouldn't even know it. Great choice of food and reasonably priced. Plenty of varieties of drinks and if you want something specific for your stay Roger and his team will oblige. Nothing seems too much. My daughters had a number of spa treatments as did some of the other guests who were there and all came back glowing. There were some low key, very entertaining events put on that got all guests hooked. Would definitely like to return soon!

Villa Fleur de Lys is a great sized villa, right on the beach, with a swimming pool and has excellent amenities. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. There is a kid's games room and an entertainment centre with a gym, foosball table, ping pong table and pool table. The included breakfast is big enough and the restaurant provided large portion sizes. The beach is okay for swimming, but aqua shoes are recommended as there are rocks.
