Location was amazing! It’s just 15-20 min to Tacoma. Nice and quiet area. We enjoyed the walk by the water. Kids played at the playground and water spray park, we enjoyed sitting on the Broad Walk, biking/ jogging and watched people dancing/performing. The neighborhood seemed new and the residents decorated their patios beautifully. We also spotted a deer family. Hotel was new, nicely decorated and cleaned. Loved the large bathroom with double vanity and a separate toilet closet. We also liked the hallways being nicely lit. Staffs were friendly and approachable. Valet parking only but service was prompt, parking area was gated and secured. No complimentary breakfast but coffee was free at the on site Copper & Salt restaurant. Taco Street in the Public Market across the street offered delicious food! We visited the Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, which was a short drive away.

First visit to a McManamins and it was such a feast for the eyes- like a hostel on steroids, the paintings, colours, photographs, fabrics and plants are just super fun and extra. Also an amazing story(ies) behind a historical building you have to see to truly appreciate! Cozy room with a clean, comfy bed. Excellent, friendly staff and great drinks. The best part was the multiple bars to chose from. Found this great as a solo traveller- safe, fun, unique spaces that i didnt expect to find all under one (fabulous) roof. The tiki bar's great and Spanish bar's cocktails were particularly awesome! Little tour of the gorgeous "ballroom" concert space was a nice touch. They also have a great little gift shop with a variety of taps available. Super memorable experience, will be back with friends/family for sure and will be seeking out more spots from this company.

The property is in a convenient location. It was spotlessly clean and check-in was easy. The host sent a list of recommendations for places to visit and local restaurants which was of great assistance and we took a few of them and enjoyed them all.

Amazing views of Mt. Rainier from our window! The place was very clean, great location with easy access to a bunch of cafes, breweries, and museums. Great place to explore downtown Tacoma!

Very clean. comfy beds. Customer service was exceptional. Tawanna at the breakfast bar brightened the day with her cheery smile and warm hospitality. would definitely recommend!
