Immediately we felt we had come to stay with family or friends. The warm welcome continued for the duration of our stay as we unwound from bouncing around the back country of Botswana. All the reviews made mention of the meals prepared by Mmapula and how the food was so good. I had a hard time believing this but it is so true. I asked her repeatedly if she had trained or cooked professionally and she said no. What a talented natural cook she is. Everything she prepared for us was delicious. Also, she is very generous with her time and we had long discussions on the day to day living in Botswana.  Please note this is a homestay. There isn't a pool or anything fancy. Our room was a good size with a fridge, kettle, coffee and tea. Good A/C and to my wife's delight a big bathtub. There was a comfortable outside seating area with a fridge as well. Dinner is at the communal table with the other guests where you can share you traveling stories. Just a great stay.

You feel very relaxed and disconnected in this cabin surrounded by nature. Tebla (the host) is beyond kind, he is very cordial and helpful, one of the nicest people we met in Botswana. He makes sure you have a great stay and want's to genuinely help you. The place location is not easy to find if you hire a local cab on the street, so I would recommend hiring the shuttle service with Acacia Cottage.

Wonderful, calm, and quiet setting with a great view.

Maun Airport is 114 km from the property. The view. The quality of the food. When we arrived they asked us if we want to have dinner, because we booked in advance they offer dinner option. Best food we have had during our holiday. But also the vibe on the bar is amazing. And having your own ablution block made it the best. Small scale!

Excellent value. Low key and very peaceful. Lodge room was exceptional.
