I chose Basel solely because of its rail connections, but am glad that I took time in the end to explore - it's a wonderful and friendly city.

Alex from reception also had great dinner recommendations. The hotel is clean, very central, quiet, close to the main station, and has perfect water pressure. The breakfast is also fresh and super yummy.
