Pietro is a born host, kind but not overbearing; he makes you immediately feel like you’re visiting your favorite Italian uncle who just so happens to have a beautiful palazzo. We stayed in 4 different properties on our trip to Tuscany and Palazzo Pacini was our favorite. We highly recommend “The Dutchess” room. Waking up to that view everyday was just magical. The layout of Colle di Val d’Elsa is a bit different than many other Tuscan towns, quite long and narrow, but the scenery is beautiful.

Viola and her family were super hosts. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We booked fresh pastries and coffee each day for breakfast. Great value. We had lunch one day cooked by Viola and her mum and the food was amazing. We also took the opportunity to take a cooking class which was so relaxing and fun. We were attending a wedding at Castello di Celsa and Villa Mucellena's location was very convenient for this.

We had a great 4 night stay in the residence with the family. It has an original Tuscany charm, with a lot of greenary and big pool. Food was exceptional, we can also recommend the cooking class with the chef Mikaela. It was so much fun! Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and clean. We can all recommend.
The location is totally isolated. Youre at the top of a hill in a village without people. To go shopping you need a car and drive for 5min. The pool is big enough for the max of people accommodated, but it can get noisy with the kids ( its a very family friendly place). The rooms are big enough. People usually respect noise levels and are polite, sunbeds are provided. Its family owned so your money is not going into some real estate ageny's pocket.
Good family resort, clean and comfortable.
The daily breakfast was outstanding, with lots of options to please all. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza class with our grandkids and appreciated the kid-friendly play equipment to occupy them. Lisa was most accommodating by shopping for our groceries and arranging for transport to the train station on our departure. Her staff was very friendly and always had welcoming smiles on their faces. Our grandchildren hated to leave. Extra perks for the opportunity to purchase the family produced olive oil and wine!
Very charming, clean and comfortable place for our family stay. The wonderful people made the place even more special, from the welcoming drinks, the nicely prepared breakfast to the little attentions to our kids (they liked them so much that they kept “disturbing” them, sorry guys 😅). We really enjoyed the stay. Thanks
Very nice place in the village center, well equiped, comfy and clean! We stayed 4 nights with two kids and where really happy about the two bedrooms and a nice living room. There are several family hiking tours at reach from the house. The host ist great, he helped us out as we failed to reach our bus to Gaiole on our arrival day, it would have been very difficult without his help!
Beautiful hotel and rooms, not too crowded even in peak season (it was always easy to have a table outside for breakfast to enjoy the magnificent view), great value for money, nice location in a street with lots of restaurants and shops, welcoming to children even though it's not primarily intended as a family hotel (baby cots and baby chairs are available).
The apartment is very spacious, cozy, fresh and equipped with high quality of everything necessary for staying for a family with a child. Only we had to bring our own cot for the baby, as it is not provided in the property. The agriturismo is not quite out of the way, so you can find options for restaurants for dinner nearby.
