It was very comfortable, clean, neat and had everything I needed. The view from the garden down to the sea is astonishing. When I openened my door, I could hear the waves and the birds singing. Sitting on a bench in the garden and enjoying this surrounding with a coffee in my hand, was just like a dream. The location is great, it is a 5-10 mins to the center of Castara and the beach. Rhonda and Andrew were always very helpfull and pro-active. Even a late check-in worked out perfect, as I was running late after my arrival to Tobago. I would definately recommed this place to solo travellers as well as couples. The area is so beautiful. It was very lively in the evening at a café at the town center and there is a nice restaurant up on the hill, on the way to the center, where you can enjoy great food or just a sundowner. I ll be back for sure.

The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Store Bay Beach, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. Guests can make use of a terrace. The apartment was extremely clean well maintained and spacious. All the basics you'd expect were supplied. The location was fantastic and felt very safe. 3 minutes drive (11 minutes walk) to the airport. 7 minutes to the beach and local shops and food places. The communication before during and after my stay was excellent. Ms Marion & her husband who greeted us were so warm, welcoming and informative. I would definitely recommend and would stay again!

The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and lush, vibrant nature all around. One of the highlights was watching the countless hummingbirds fluttering around the property throughout the day—truly a magical experience. Unfortunately, I fell ill during our trip, but Wayne was a true blessing. His kindness, attentiveness, and quick communication made all the difference, and we felt genuinely cared for the entire time we were on the island. The apartment was cozy and well-equipped, with a convenient kitchenette for preparing meals when we wanted. However, the on-site breakfast was a wonderful option, and in the evenings, Wayne offered a variety of delicious drinks and local dishes for purchase, which added a special touch to our stay. As a native of the island, Wayne has a wealth of local connections and can organize tours if needed. His expertise made exploring the island so much easier and more enjoyable and he recommended a lovely little waterfall hike for us to do. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—it’s an incredible place with an even more incredible host. We couldn’t recommend it more!

Located overlooking beautiful Castara Bay, Castara Retreats is a family-run eco resort offering self-catering accommodations set in 2 acres of tropical gardens. Each accommodation has ocean views and is just a three minute walk from the beach. We stayed at the Treetop at Castara Retreats and the view was phenomenal! We were surrounded by plush foliage and sounds and views of Castara Bay, birds and beauty. We were even able to catch a view of a stingray while we were in our apartment condo looking into the ocean. The open layout of the condo, the ambience and relaxing vibe, the warmness of the entire village, the clear ocean and mangoes☺️ everything was delightful! We enjoyed dinner for our daughter’s birthday at the onsite restaurant with sunset views- a modern take on Caribbean cuisine. When we wanted more authentic food we walked into the village to purchase food at Riverside Local Cuisine- we had breakfast there almost everyday, and we ate at Duck’s Seaside grill and Cafe and frequented the grocery store- D-Genius supermarket. We were picked up and dropped back to the airport. Porridge and the entire team were gracious and accommodating! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay with our large group. The villas are well equipped and well located. I highly recommend the restaurant at the property for sunset drinks and dinner. The staff at Stonehaven also went above and beyond to accommodate our group. Will definitely be staying there again.
