We absolutely loved our stay! Couldn't of been happier. Such a lovely quiet place to have a relaxing weekend. The cottage is stunning and impeccably clean (and I'm OCD) and it had absolutely everything we needed inside and out. I also made 2 little mates that greeted me outside a lot.... 2 wee kitty's 😺😁 very friendly. Paul met us outside when we got there and was super friendly and polite! Always at the end of the phone if we needed anything at all which was very comforting as we had never been to holsworthy before. We met his dad too who was also lovely and we had a nice chat. Really nice family and made us feel super super welcome! Would go back in a heartbeat, I didn't want to leave!

Swallows retreat was being renovated unfortunately there was a mix up with booking.com . However the host was just fantastic and provided us with beautiful alternative accommodation and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed after a long days walk on the coast path .

Amazing location and staff always ready to help. The whole site is very well managed and maintained. Some brilliant nature walks and nice "farm" animals.. Boris does look like Boris! Bude is a lovely little town and I'm sure we'll visit again as so much left to do in the area.

Beautiful little hideaway cottage. Very peaceful with hiking paths outside your front door. Everything you could wish for is provided, and a Cornish cream tea on arrival is the perfect extra touch.

Had all you needed for a relaxing stay. Welcomed with scones, jam and cream and locally produced milk. Anne-Louise showed us how to use the pool and hot tub which made the stay extra special. Had a fantastic time there would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The area was beautiful, well kept to a very standard and quiet and a fantastic base for exploring the area. The pool and hot tub facilities on site were fabulous. The owners were also very helpful and friendly.
