What a beautiful place ! The garden, the house, the location, the outlook, everything was wonderful to look upon. The stillness, the sound of the birds and the temple prayers. The team were incredible - so helpful and lovely to chat with. We became close with them during our stay. The food was exceptional- I don’t think we’ve eaten so well before on holiday.

The entirely wooden home was an amazing sight and the view was even better. We arrived in the evening and woke up to a spectacular sight hearing the river/waterfalls down below. Absolutely stunning. The family that runs Wood Palace is amazing and has been great in accommodating us with anything we needed during our stay, first making arrangements for me as I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and later whilst our son got sick. The amazing starry nights from the balcony and fireflies lighting up the view topped it off. It’s located a little outside of Ella (5min drive) which made it very peaceful and quiet. The owner has a TukTuk and can bring you anywhere you need very quickly. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a very memorable stay

Very beautiful location, very friendly staff. Food was excellent whether local or western. Close to other attractions in Ella area and downtown.

Ella Breeze is a wonderful hotel which I highly recommend. Rooms and service are great. It’s very comfortable and clean there. We also got breakfasts there during our stay - everything was fine. I want to thank manager Ajey who assisted us with helpful information about surroundings and helped us to organise transfer to Unawatuna even cheaper than they ask in the nearby taxi kiosks. Extremely lovely hotel in a quiet surrounding. Staff is very friendly and helpful and spares no effort to ensure that their guests have a great stay. Rooms are extraordinarily clean and very comfortable. Nothing is left to be desired.

We recently stayed at Andriyala, and I must say it’s truly one of the best places we’ve ever experienced. We booked the entire villa, including the suite, and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. We even faced a vehicle breakdown during our stay, and the team went out of their way to assist us with getting it repaired—something we truly appreciated. A special thank you to the chef for preparing the most delightful dinner and breakfast. The food was simply amazing. Cleanliness was also top-notch. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort. Everything about our stay was beyond perfect. The whole experience was amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a refreshing freshly made drink and flowers. The food was made from fresh local ingredients most of the coming from their own kitchen garden. Staff were very helpful in helping us find the location as it is secluded and away from the main town which makes it very pleasant and relaxing location. We woke up to an amazing view and natural atmosphere. There are not many restaurants around but the food made my the chef at the bungalow was very delicious.
