What a perfect place to stay! The rooms are fantastic, the location is great and you feel like you are in a magical place! We spent there the new year and it was so much fun, we celebrated with the stuff and it was one of our best and unforgettable memories from Sri Lanka! In addition, Ishan, the manager, is truly an amazing person who will help you with everything! I felt sick during my stay and he was so emphatic and helpful in the situation, and him and the rest of the team made our stay unforgettable. What an absolute gem of a property, the infinity pool, breakfast, views from rooms and breakfast area, the hotel tour and hotel team & service were all excellent. Loved the rhythm and respect for nature. We could see elephants and horses from our room and spotted beautiful birds.

We had the absolute privilege to be the first guests to check-in at Sigiriya Cashew Palace Resort after it reopened. It is the sort of hotel that is 6 stars for the soul. The family that run it are lovely and incredibly attentive. And the rooms are massive: we had a two bedroom family apartment, which had two bathrooms and a huge kitchen/living room/diner. Breakfast was terrific each day, and the one time we had dinner in the hotel was also excellent. The swimming pool onsite as well as ad hoc experiences like roasting cashews - hence the name! - are just added bonuses. It's also incredibly well positioned for the delights of Sigiriya and the rest of the cultural triangle. Just stay here, you won't regret it. And you may regret it if you don't.

Amazing location. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. They arranged trips to lions rock and our onward transport, all the drivers they arranged were great and couldn’t have had a better experience with them.The food is also delicious.

Everything. The staff were so friendly from the offset, and everything just progressed from then on. The rooms were amazing, very spacious and as the hotel is small - the quality of the stay was just superb. The hotel is beautifully located, set within the jungle and just a few mins Tuk Tuk away from Sigiriya, and Pidurangala! And finally, the food. The food was exquisite, and be sure to experience as much from the menu as possible. I’m still sure that the Sri Lankan breakfast at Roo Mansala is the best thing I have ever eaten. A truly luxurious boutique with a very intimate and welcoming atmosphere!
