Corinthia was simply spectacular. When you search for the few 5 star hotels on the island, yes there are options that are close/in the historic center or by the sea but we stopped by those hotels later on for drinks and food and they are nowhere close to Corinthia when it comes to charm and the pool area all by itself is a reason to stay here. The building is a marvelous old palace and every detail is aesthetically thought. The fruit options could have had more variety but that is all I can really think of. The dinner experience at Bahia was interesting, perhaps would have preferred to be served the silverware instead of grabbing them myself every time from the secret drawer under the table. Try the fabulous cocktail they have with the local prickly pear liquor. It was our favorite. The floral arrangements all around the hotel are a huge success. Also the coffee machine should be provided in each room without having to ask for it. Overall fantastic stay though. The other 5 star hotels can be never but their outdoor pools are much smaller and the charisma of Corinthia wins over with fabulous gardens, pool etc. Highly recommended.

Super boujie gorgeous hotel in St Julian’s. Breakfast and rooms were outstanding, as well as the service. They left a card and chocolates in my room on the first day :) Loved the pool too. I didn’t want to leave!

Great location in st Julian’s, with a dedicated Taxi group ready to take you to surrounding cities. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The pools and gym facilities are amazing. Buffet breakfast was brilliant (especially the Maltese bread) and we loved being greeted every morning by our favourite waitress Silvie. We took advantage of the tour desk (tour desk staff were amazing) and booked 3 tours which were all sensational - a full island boat tour, Syracuse day trip and a trip to Gozo by safari. Brilliant stay - would return for sure.
