Situated just 2 miles from Galway city centre, Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate offers 5-star accommodation, free parking, a golf course, and views of Lough Corrib and the dramatic West of Ireland landscape. Incredibly beautiful hotel with wonderful food and amenities. The staff was fantastic throughout our stay. Highly highly recommend the falconry (amazing experience!) and dinner in the Pullman restaurant, which was one of the best meals I've ever had. There was so much to do - we missed out on seeing a movie in the hotel cinema because we just didn't have time, and there were a range of activities we'd love to come back and try. Lovely resort in a lovely part of Ireland.

The design team from GW Design wanted to maintain the chic and elegant atmosphere of the grand salon and for the room to have a feeling of subtle sophistication. A new jewel like cocktail bar, with a dramatic mirrored back bar display reflects the view of the Lough and the lighting installation. A palette of luxurious leathers and textured fabrics, in soft taupes, greys with hints of plums, create a warm and relaxing backdrop to enjoy afternoon tea or a pre-dinner drink. The hotel was so comfortable and the rooms were equally comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very nice and welcoming.
