The breakfast included is superb with a buffet and hot food you can choose to order. We also had dinner in the pub a few times and an afternoon tea in the Monk's Lounge. Both were great. The hotel also offers complimentary bikes you can reserve which is great to explore the park.

You can play tennis at this 5-star hotel, and the area is popular for fishing and cycling. This is a stunning hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. All the facilities were exceptionally good.

I had a most exceptional experience in Castlewood House this week. Nothing, nowhere, I have ever been compares in quality, location, staff...opulence, fit out...the whole enchilada...Helen and Brian are amazing hosts....the staff brilliant...low key and super efficient and polite...but...when it came to breakfast..OMG...the menu...the extensive offerings.....vegan...vege....meat lovers...the options were unbelievable...truly...off the charts. Its worth every cent..and then some. Thank you Helen n Brian. I left with such immense joy and satisfaction that I can't rate high enough.
