Modern and spacious, rooms are fitted with high ceilings, a flat-screen cable TV, minibar and tea/coffee-making facilities. Bathrobes, toiletries and a hairdryer are provided. This was, simply, the best travel experience I have had at a hotel. It exceeded other 5 star properties I’ve visited at every turn. The staff were incredibly efficient, friendly, and relaxed. Especially nice touches: front desk staff accompany you to your room at check-in and complete documents there, for comfort, and give an overview of your room. The room was luxurious without being cavernous, amenities generous, excellent minibar options, and very comfortable robes. The 1911 restaurant was a welcome respite and served wonderful Continental and Indian dishes. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully orchestrated. The hotel bookstore was a precious and well-curated little gem. The concierge was unfailingly helpful and the spa was like a dream to escape the New Delhi smog. The hotel’s art collection was of real interest and the overall vibe was delightful.

Exceptionally nice hotel grounds with a very nice bar with outside seating. Room was perfect, staff very nice and attentive.

Modern rooms include a flat-screen satellite TV. Free WiFi is available in the rooms of the property. Excellent location, staff are very helpful. This is a heritage building, so it has this antique charm to it. Food was good, prices according to the standard of the hotel. I would go for the deluxe suite, which is priced a little more than the heritage room but more spacious.

The Taj is fabulous. We loved every thing. I’ve stayed in a Taj Club suite. The Club lounge cocktails hour was a delight. Afternoon tea was delicious and the breakfasts were great. The service was second to none.

Also the rest of the staff was very friendly and doing a great job. Definitely will stay here again.
