Lovely place with beautiful garden with colourful flowers. The resort is situated outside the old city center of Tropea in a quiet neighbourhood. We loved the quietness. Very friendly staff. You can feel that the resort is family-run. There is no restaurant in the resort, but they have an exquisit restaurant in the old city center of Tropea. The breakfast was very authentic and friendly served in an outside patio. Very romantic. We recommend Il Borghetto strongly if you want a romantic holiday for two.

Set in a 16th century convent, Villa Paola features an outdoor pool, sun terrace and garden. Its elegant rooms come with flat-screen satellite TV, 1.5 km from Tropea. Everything was absolutely spectacular! The grounds were incredible and the staff was so welcoming and cheerful. Our bedroom was extremely large with one small balcony and a second large balcony with sun loungers which had the most amazing view! Will definitely be returning!
