Food was excellent as well!

The staff were so accommodating and helpful especially when we were having issues communicating with our Tuk tuk driver. There’s a restaurant on site which is perfect after a long day of touring. The hotel is far enough from the city where it’s calm and quiet but still accessible by tuk tuk just factor in some time if you are trying to get to the train station. The room was so well kept and clean. Breakfast was also amazing, super tasty and you have a choice of options you’d like. Cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I absolutely recommend staying in when you are in Kandy.

The room was big, with a very comfortable bed, huge bathroom with both shower and tub. The terrace of the room offers spectacular view over the pool and lake. The food was very good, we ate here breakfast, lunch and dinner and we liked all meals! It offers an a la carte menu which we liked very much, we were sick of buffet style ... We tried also the massages, which were pretty nice as well. Last but not least, the personnel was very kind, attentive and always happy to help you with anything you want. They offer you a personal butler which is available anytime for you at a ring distance (they even give you a phone to call him directly when you need anything).

Each meal at Santani is an experience, and with no printed menus, the chefs propose a menu to each guest based on the dietary preferences and utilizing the fresh organic vegetables grown on site. All room categories are available on a full-board basis. I loved everything about this! My favorite parts were the spa services and chakra alignment with sound bath done by the yoga master. I also loved the reiki with a visiting yoga master. The food, rooms, staff, and grounds were all great.

Bathrooms come with bathrobes, free toiletries and a hairdryer. This place is lovely. We loved the family tent, which is a small appartment in itself, with a lot of space (parent’s room, kid’s room, living room, big modern bathroom). It was very clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The set up for pool and meals is gorgeous.
