Rooms at Sonesta Hotel El Olivar have a sophisticated design and are decorated with a mix of wood that creates a cosy atmosphere. All are equipped with a cable TV. The marble bathrooms offer modern amenities such as a hairdryer. Room Service 24 hours a day. From 22:00hrs to 07:00hrs a special midnight menu is considered. Great location, super clean rooms, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was incredible!

Dining Options: The modern restaurant serves Peruvian, local, and international cuisines with brunch, lunch, dinner, high tea, and cocktails. Breakfast includes warm dishes, juice, pancakes, cheese, and fruits. I stayed here just one night coming back from Cusco before an early morning flight so did not really use the hotel much. For the purpose I used it the location was perfect but I suspect otherwise I would have had to take a cab as there really is not much to do in the area. The room was a king, quite big and modern with a wonderful shower. Breakfast is available from 5am but I did not avail of it.

If you have a room on a higher floor, the view of the city is spectacular. Guests on particular floors get access to Westin Lounge on the 29th floor, which allows you to have 3 meals a day of a very high quality. The location is convenient but it all depends where you want to go in the city. Don't take taxis recommended from the concierge because they are twice as expensive as the ones you can catch on the street. Beware that Lima is a big city and the traffic moves very slowly whenever you go. The staff is very helpful and the hotel experience overall is excellent.
