This wasn't our first time in Seehotel and I just love the place. Everything is perfect to every detail. The breakfasts are awesome, full of all kind of delicatessen. Sauna area is awesome and tranquil place where you can just relax, drink tea and read your book. The views both from the room and the sauna are spectacular and I love jumping to the cold Traunsee. I also appreciate those little activities like cooking käsespätzle with Lukas or music under the christmas tree. This makes my experience even better. I hope I will return for another New Years eve.

Breakfast selection and quality was absolutely amazing, room was spacious, and fully equipped with what we need and more! Facilities were better than expected, you cannot miss its swimming pool, sauna, morning yoga sessions, and also the location of where it is located right across Traunsee. We also managed to kayak on our last day, it was absolutely breathtaking.

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. You will love staying with the Familie Steinkogler!! We thank them for a wonderful experience. Heidi, Lisa and Ria

The friendliness off the staff and willingness to help with a gluten free diet. The hôtel facilities were wonderful, the infinity pool was fabulous, the décor was very artistic and the situation by the lake was perfect.

Big roomes. Quite location for good sleep. There is a sport centre near the hotel and tenis court, also small atletics training place near by in the woods. You have a fitness room and sauna. The hotel does have a storage place for bikes if you bring your own bike. The perfect place for active holidays!

    perfect hotel with amazing location, tasty food, cozy rooms, nice shampoo and soap. but NO air conditioner in a room. Staff said that the hotel has central air conditioning system, and recomended me open a window. however I was looking and did not find any hole like air conditioner in a room. we are lucky because it was a hot day. when we stay at the hotel. Temperature in our room was 26 C. Second day was cold, and absence of air conditioning was no problem for us.

    Beautiful room with lakeside view. You could have a shower with the curtains open and still see the lake Fabulous breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. The evening meals were delicious too. The location was superb, and we were able to use kayaks and paddle boards from the sister hotel. Very picturesque location.

    Fantastic location on lake front, modern, bright, functional and clean apartment, very nice host. Free table tennis table and well equipped gym. Icecream place and excellent restaurant withing a few metres from the apartment, otherwise very quiet and peaceful. Our teens had a great time swimming and oaddling in the lake.

    Beautiful location on one of the best and most beautiful lakes in Austria, Traunsee. Town Traunkirchen is incredibly picturesque. Generally the setting is perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional both for breakfast and dinner. Very tastefully renovated property.would stay again for sure.
