The place is undoubtedly beautiful, clean and decorated in a modern way. Most amazing thing was the view of cradle bridge from the balcony. Host was very friendly and prompt. Totally worth it.

After having left noisy Kandy and traffic behind, this place was a haven of peace. The lack of noise was what hit me first. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The views were stunning. Hanthana mountain is in front at the other side of a deep valley and the Knuckles Range to the right. Crickets were chirping when I went to sleep, and I woke up to a chorus of birds. All in all, I came back in a better mindset that I went in with.

A new well appointed property with excellent staff. Mohammed and Chef Karu were particularly good. All other staff very responsive. A good view of Kandy from the balcony. Breakfast was great!

Beautiful room and beautiful location. The balcony was fantastic. Views from room were brilliant. The breakfast was delicious. Staff were very helpful. The room was spotless and the bathroom was too. I will definitely be recommending this to other people

I spent only 1 night at Hotel Cassendra but I can say that it has been an absolute pleasure. Not only for the location as it is nested on top of the hill, and the scenery that it offers above Kandy is truly beautiful. What I genuinely enjoyed the most was the cordiality of the staff. All of them were so helpful during the whole stay, both at my arrival at late night and then in the morning for breakfast and check-out.
