It's in a great location right in the village centre next to shops and food outlets and not far from the beach. It's a very well-appointed backpackers' lodge with extensive and tasteful sitting areas both inside and out and well-equipped communal kitchen. The bedroom was pleasant and the bed comfortable.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way).

Arrived late but code had been emailed previously to enable us entry. The electric portable stove hidden in the cupboard caught us out....only discovered it once the boys had cooked our pasta in the communal kitchen. 😂 Hire of the spades for Hot Water Beach was very helpful as was being able to shower in the communal block later after the beach even though we'd checked out. Thank you.

This place is absolutely bliss even in the winter. Loved the Hot tub and the suite was so comfortable, equipped with everything you would need.

Maria and Guy were wonderful and friendly hosts, prepared to "go the extra mile" to make our stay memorable. Maria even baked a cake at short notice for a birthday celebration.

My partner and I had an absolute blast staying here. The staff were wonderful and very kind and the apartment was lovely, modern and safe. Very central to restaurants, cafes, the beach, all within walking distance.

The unit was well equipped with everything you need. Nice and clean spacious big lounge room with nice big TV. Location was great close to restaurants and shops.

We stayed on the top floor in an apartment facing the ocean. I think it was number 8. It was perfect. We could cook our own meals in the well equipped full kitchen. It was well laid out to sleep a family of 4 and the beds were comfortable. We slept so well because of the black out blinds and lapping ocean just outside, My 22 year old daughter enjoyed using the trampoline and we both enjoyed the hot tub and having our meals on our balcony overlooking the beautiful view, The hosts were also lovely and very helpful with suggestions as to things to do. it was well located to walk and drive to different sites to visit in the surrounding areas. A nice bonus is it also had Netflix to relax at night with a movie, Because of the lack of noise and light pollution, star gazing was at its best. I would highly recommend this property.
