Beachfront property located in Puerto Viejo. Estblishment set 40 m away from the beach., less than 1 km from Chiquita Beach. Jaguar Rescue Center is 2.7 km from the accommodation. We had a wonderful stay at Awa, a boutique hotel located on one of the most beautiful beaches on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. Their attitude and professionalism were truly outstanding, far surpassing service standards we’ve experienced in many European locations. The rooms were exactly as pictured, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. The overall vibe of the hotel is relaxed yet refined, making it a perfect escape for those looking to enjoy a quieter, more intimate setting by the beach.

Loved that it was owner operated. The owner Tristan and his daughter Arianna work very hard to make your stay wonderful! It is very clean, the pool and lounging area were perfect, and the fact that there are only 4 apartments makes it cozy and quiet. It’s far enough out of town to make it peaceful and in nature, but it’s easily walkable. A bus stop is also just outside the entrance gates. There is a lot of parking, and it is very safe and secure! The home made warm breakfasts delivered to our door were amazing! I would definitely recommend and would come back if we are ever back in the community

Beautifull and good maintained villas with nice pool and garden. The host Edward and his wife were really helpful and tried to make our stay perfect.

Everything, is a beautiful personal experience, Martin is a great host, he does the breakfast himself along with his wife’s desserts. It’s my 7th visit to Puerto Viejo, since I fell in love with this place, and this was far better than anything I rented here before. It’s just something else…I guess when the plants grow higher this will look as you were living in the jungle. But even now, when it’s new, you have that experience. The breakfast is exceptional, the staff is very friendly, the manager really knows his job. I’m not sure whether I most enjoyed the early mornings, when the jungle switches on and the howler monkeys wake you up, or the evenings, for the illumination of the resort is just another experience. I like a log…it’s beautiful, amazing and outstanding, really

Considering the state of the town of Limon, this hotel is a hidden gem. We would not have stayed in Limon if not for this hotel. The renovations are beautiful and the interior designers did a great job in my opinion. The pool was wonderful. The food was delicious. The sangria was superb and the staff were all friendly and very helpful. We stayed 2 nights and got full use of the pool and the restaurant. Our room was perfect. We have no complaints. We would stay here again but chance of visiting Limon again are slim.

Cooper the manager was really knowledgable about the area and arranged all the best transportation and tours for us with the best guides! Its exactly what you need in a place like Tortuguero where the fun lies in the expeditions you take. Our breakfast was delicious and always ready right when we finished the morning tours which was really thoughtful and appreciated. Moreover, as a lesbian couple, we're always a bit weary of hotel staff when we travel but it was not the case here - everyone was so friendly and we would definitely qualify this hotel as LGBT-friendly :)
