Everything was clean and cozy, the AC worked like a charm, and the water in the pools was really clean because they change it every day. It almost felt like there were no other people around; it was super quiet and relaxing. Breakfast and dinner were great, with a variety of dishes to try. The chocolate ice cream was delicious. They clean your room daily and also change the towels. But the true gem of this hotel is the staff! Gabriella, the receptionist, was so helpful and her English was excellent. She always went out of her way to help us and greeted every guest with a smile. Hotel Barrico, Gabriella is a keeper, get that girl a promotion or something :) I'd advise everyone to go to this hotel because it's very relaxing and in such a beautiful and quiet area.

Erla Villa Boutique Hotel offers a terrace and guests can enjoy the indoor pool and garden at the property. The location was so close to our walking tour of the city - very central to everything. After 2 weeks in Europe, and one meal at a Michellin star restaurant, this was the next best meal ever!!! The duck was outstanding!!! We ate on a Viking ship with really good meals and many good restaurants, but our entire dinner here was outstanding, plus the little dining area was precious. We wish we could have stayed longer and would recommend this charming boutique hotel to anyone wanting a true Eger/Hungarian experience!
