ItalyThe Hostel Stories in Varkala is an incredibly friendly place to stay if you're visiting Varkala. I’ve been there for three weeks, and from the very first day, I felt at home—even though it was my first time in India!
The hostel has a beautiful garden with hammocks, chairs, and fruit trees, always filled with good vibes and friendly people to chat with. The atmosphere is both calm and welcoming, making it easy to connect with other travelers while also having space to relax on your own. If you're traveling solo, I promise you won’t feel lonely!
There’s also a lovely terrace where you can practice yoga early in the morning, hang your clothes to dry, or simply lie back and watch the stars at night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hostel is just a short walk from the South Cliff, where you’ll find the amazong ocean, cafés, restaurants, and all the shops you might need.
A huge thank you to Pintu and all the staff at the hostel—you made my stay unforgettable!
