New Zealand24/7 front desk, hostel activities every night or two. Private room was excellent, beds were nice, pool was great. Was very social when I went, stayed about a week in total. When I lost my phone and all my money the staff helped my out massively: One women on the desk lent me her personal phone and some money for half the day so I could go to the bank, call home and buy a new phone, above and beyond service. Canteen on-site that was 24/7
