United KingdomThe homestay is traditional stilted home and is very clean and well presented. It’s located in the countryside next to an irrigation channel and has beautiful views over the rice paddies and towards the spectacular Phnom Sampov and bat caves, which are only a short walk away.
Lem, the owner, is an excellent tour guide and took us out in his tuk tuk and on the back of his moped to see some amazing local countryside and attractions for a very reasonable price. He even came on an early morning run up to the temple with us. He’s amazing! His wife prepares the meals and is an excellent cook.
Staying here is an absolute must; very quiet and an authentic countryside experience.
