An Absolute Hidden Gem – Pure Magic at Dolphin Beach Resort I stayed at Dolphin Beach Resort for one night with my friend Arif, and honestly, I’m still dreaming about it. This place is gorgeous—a hidden gem tucked away in serene Kalpitiya that deserves way more attention than it gets. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted. The property is huge, incredibly clean, and so peaceful that it felt like time slowed down. The architecture is stunning—eco-chic in the best way. We stayed in one of their luxury tents, and let me just say... it was out of a dream. Spacious interiors, a thoughtfully designed bathroom, and an outdoor shower that made me feel like I was in a nature-luxe fantasy. The view? Breathtaking. There's even a windmill nearby that adds a rustic charm to the horizon, and we loved it—it added so much character to the vibe. The pool was picture-perfect, and the whole atmosphere just made us feel like we had escaped to our own private paradise. Dinner was beautifully arranged—delicious, fresh, and served with care. In the morning, we asked if we could have breakfast by the beach, and they went out of their way to set it up for us. That gesture alone won my heart. I truly don’t understand why this place isn’t packed—maybe that’s part of its charm. But trust me, more people need to discover this slice of heaven. I’ll definitely be going back. Riswan and his family are so hospitable and proud to introduce you to wonderful Sri Lankan food, traditional life and wildlife. A very peaceful setting next to the river and rice paddy fields. Monkeys played in the tree beside my treehouse, and I could watch fishermen patiently catch fish from my balcony. Everyone is so friendly. I took a nice walk to a wetland area just 15 mins walk and saw birds, monkeys and a mongoose. Riswan will arrange everything for you - meals, transport, food, safari, its all very easy, just let him know what you want. A very special thanks to "Auntie" for her amazing coffee, so no worries if you crave caffeine, strong, black, sweet and delicious.

Amazing food and kite straight off the beach. Probably the best social life of all resorts here.
