The little house was great! Very spacious and with beautiful bathroom. Feld very private! We also ordered dinner barbeque – great experience that we suggest. The host was very helpful – organising our safari and also helping to get to public bus t continue our trip to Weligama.

Everything is perfect at Tribe Yala. It is an incredible and unique glamping experience. The “tents” (it is more of a 5 star hotel suite) are clean, spacious, fully equipped (private wifi and AC) and comfortable. We also had a private jacuzzi. Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. Thank you Rua and Latchan for your friendliness and professionalism. We will come back for sure!

Our stay at Camp Leopard was outstanding. The facilities are clean, welcoming and comfortable. The staff is very kind and professional from the beginning to the end. Finally the safaris are very well organised - our guide Chathu was very knowledgable and passionate. We learned a lot, and that is what we came for instead of the “just seeing the big animals and taking the photo”. All in all this place gives the “little extra” in everything.

We had such a wonderful time here, the lovely host Goshi made us feel right at home. He took us on a bushwalk in the evening and organised a safari in the morning, both of which felt like a true wildlife experience. Truly exceptional stay.

This is a very well run camp close to Yala NP. We stayed in a family tent which was great with two tents joined together and plenty of space. Dinner is outside around a fire, which is very atmospheric. Nice small details with tasty afternoon tea and some activities such as basketball and badminton. Great place to stay, with excellent staff.

Ciao! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Makini Bush Camp and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The camp's location in the midst of the Yala wilderness was absolutely breathtaking. As an traveler who loves nature and adventure, Makini was perfect for me. The tented chalets were very comfortable and the private plunge pool was just what I needed to relax after a long day of exploring. The food was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the traditional Sri Lankan dishes served at the camp. But what we loved most about Makini was the experiences they offered. The guided safaris were amazing, and I was lucky enough to see some rare bird species, as well as elephants and leopards in their natural habitat. The staff at Makini were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to ensure that we had a memorable and enjoyable stay.
