Awesome place, tends, food, and experience, made possible by the people working there. Ibrahim, the manager, wasn’t just kind, but he supported us with the rest of our trip in Oman. Said, the driver, impressive as well. The guys supporting with the accomodation and the food super kind. We couldn’t recommend more the place and this team. The place is beautiful during the night. The staff were very helpful and polite. Food was delicious: was served dinner and breakfast and snacks was provided too. The rooms was really cute and was really nice having a functional bathroom while 'camping'. They set up a bonfire during the evenings too. Great value for money. Winter evenings got very cold !

The Desert Diamond Camp is exceptional! 👌🏼 Had the best stay there, the camp was luxurious but felt authentic, the food was really tasty and in big portions, and finally, the managers and workers were incredibly kind and offered such an amazing experience! Excellent stay in the desert! The location was along the edges of the best dunes in the area, so sunset spots are right at your doorstep. The room was clean and comfortable. Dune bashing with Rashid was an amazing and thrilling experience! But the stars were Mr. Salim (cook) and Mr. Jaffer (caretaker) who ensured that the guests had an amazing experience at the camp! Highly recommend!

What a special experience! We were brought to the camp by the very friendly hosts and the desert camp was wonderful: a small camp with 3 tents (equipped with comfortable beds to sleep in) and a bathroom. This made the camp perfect for watching the sunset and sunrise, stargazing, and experiencing the desert in an intimate setting. The hosts were amazing and we also greatly enjoyed the variety of food that was served. Overall a 10/10 unique experience which we would highly recommend: definitely the highlight of our trip across Oman!

‏+ The camp was in a fantastic location in the desert completely surrounded by dunes. The tents were extremely comfortable as were the beds. I slept like a baby. The outside toilets/showers were whopped you would expect from camping experience but perfectly usable and not a problem. The camp itself was very spacious and the tents were located some distance away from each other giving that feeling of isolation to some degree. The staff organised a variety of different activities which looked to be at a reasonable price. The camper staff are able to organise a transfer from a local village into the dunes if you only choose to hire a two wheel drive car. It looked to be just about possible to get to the camp with the two wheel drive car but not for the fainthearted, and would require a good degree of confidence

    The camp was very easy to get to in a normal car, no need for a 4wd. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We stayed in a tent which was comfortable and even had air conditioning! The breakfast and dinner was fantastic each day - so many options and all delicious.

    Ali and his colleagues were friendly and helpful. The camp is remote with no signal, so perfect if you are looking to disconnect from the world for a brief moment. The beds were comfy and the tents were really nice. There is even a shower on site which I did use. The sand dunes were beautiful. It gets a little chilly in the evening so remember to bring an extra layer. Dinner and breakfast was tasty and there was lots of it.

    Sandglass was exactly what it said on the tin - a basic but well located camping spot in the desert. The food was great, the hosts very welcoming and kind and a very comfortable bed for the night.

    Everything was incredible! From the beautiful accommodation to the food, to the conversation and laughs with Rashid and Mohammed, and most of all the location. Absolutely stunning. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The beds were so comfy and the activities were fantastic. Jafa (I think was his name) provided beautiful food and was so friendly and helpful in every way. We can't fault this place and can't wait to visit again!
