From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness by Hazem, who made us feel at home right away. His hospitality was exceptional, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable stay. The tent was absolutely stunning—so authentic and beautifully designed, offering the perfect balance between comfort and a truly immersive desert experience. Every detail felt carefully thought out, giving us a glimpse into the rich Bedouin heritage. A special mention to Abood, who was responsible for the camel riding experience. He made it truly unforgettable and even took some amazing pictures of us during sunrise—a moment we will cherish forever! A very special thanks to Zaheer, who spent the evening with us, sharing fascinating insights and stories about the desert, its traditions, and history. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made our stay even more enriching. Not to mention, he served us some of the best food—delicious, fresh, and full of flavor! The entire experience at Al Marmoom Oasis felt magical. From the breathtaking surroundings to the genuine hospitality of the team, it was an unforgettable adventure. Everything was as described or even better: very nice and comfortable tent, clean toilets, amazing food (and so much variety and quantity that it's hard to try it all!) and outstanding service from everyone at the camp (Riad and Marwan were in charge of our stay and always took care that everything went well, but really everyone was so professional and friendly that it was a pleasure!). The activities that are included were great too (we didn't book any extras as we just wanted to enjoy the programme without rushing), and we liked that you get plenty of free time to do them and to enjoy the camp as you wish and at your pace. Another plus for us was the fact that the pick up point is easily reachable with public transport (bus number 16, around one hour ride to connect to the metro in Dubai), so if you're not in a hurry you don't need to take a taxi or have a car. It's just important to know that the place is indeed "touristy" and, due to the location close to Dubai and its airport, not really isolated in the desert, but instead of that you get a very well organised, safe and professional stay, which in our case even exceeded our expectations. All in all, we can absolutely recommend this experience, especially staying overnight (which we found much nicer than only spending a few hours)! It was definitely a highlight of our stay in the UAE and we really hope we can repeat it!! 😊
