Suzan is such a lovely host. She keeps in contact with you, ask in the morning and the evening how you are, arranged taxi drivers, last minute hikes and a coffee tour and gave us recommendations for the area. She and her husband are the best examples to follow your dreams and believe in your ideas. Their place is just fantastic with a stunning view, clean, cozy, delicious homemade breakfast (two options), yummy coffee (you can buy it there). You can use the common area to watch Netflix, to play family games, to cook for dinner. And the dog is so cute! We didn’t wanna leave…

The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to escape the city centre. It is easily reachable by the local tuktuk in 10min. We even walked by foot to reach La piedra from the hotel. The staff of El Trebol was really amazing, super accomodating, reactive and friendly, making us feel at home. The views are spectacular and you can do paddle or kayaking from the hotel. The gardener is making the hotel garden look really pretty We loved the breakfast being served at our cabin and the breakfast wrap is delicious. I highly recommend staying there if you want to avoid the big hotels.
