It’s very private and you even have your own outdoor kitchen and outdoor shower (with warm water! The first warm water we had in Kenya!) There is a little village at just 5 minute walk where you can buy fruits, vegetables, chapati, fried potatoes and meat. Serah is an amazing host. Very fast in her response and she’s able to help you with all of the activities: safari in Tsavo west or east, an amazing hike through the mountains or a waterfall trip. Her vision and entrepreneur spirit is amazing to see and she has some great advices. Thank you so much for everything and hopefully we’ll be back one day!

Breezy , comfortable breakfast area again overlooking the river . Perfect relaxation after a game drive - a swim in the infinity pool , looking at crocs, hippo and elephants in the stretch of river below . So easy to get to on a quiet tarmaced road from Malindi , no crazy Nairobi road !!! Wonderful to have game drives along the river with knowledgable guides. Staff are super friendly and helpful , nothing too much trouble .

Mr. Jacob, in specific, was very kind, helpful and nice towards us. We loved every second of the stay at Firefly Eco.

I had a truly wonderful stay and was impressed by how thoughtful and caring the entire team was. All staff members were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive at all times. I arrived outside of the regular check-in hours, and it was no problem at all – they made sure we could still check in smoothly and even provided a lovely lunch package for the occasion. There was so much attention to detail throughout our stay, which made it feel very special. I would absolutely book this place again anytime!

I learned a lot about local traditions and really enjoyed staying up in the tree house (cool setup and comfortable bed)! The camp is well located with the creek on one side and the swamp/forest on the other (where you might get to see elephants if you have enough time).
